Changelog

What's new in Repile, week by week. Only the changes you can see in the product are listed here.

Director in Slack gets images and files

  • New

SlackThe Director now posts images as pictures in Slack, uploads its screenshots, and can attach files such as a build ZIP to its replies. Images and files you attach in Slack reach the Director too.

  • Improved

SlackWhen you tag the Director in the middle of a Slack thread, it reads the earlier messages first. Slack also pings you when a chat waits on your approval.

  • Improved

DirectorThe Director can choose the model and effort for the chats it starts, continue a plan you already approved, and report a job's result when it finishes later.

  • New

AIEvery chat can now hand work to subagents on any model. The chat shows which model each subagent uses, and stopping the chat stops its subagents. You can also send one prompt to several models and compare the answers.

  • New

AppYou can merge the result of a forked chat back into the chat it came from, without copy and paste.

  • New

AutomationsAutomations can now start from a webhook, so an event in another service, such as a new GitHub issue, can run them. Webhooks can be signed with a private secret.

  • New

AIThe app shows how many Repile AI credits you have left. Each workspace can choose to use Repile credits or its own Claude account.

  • Improved

AppSettings, the home screen and the Director screen have a new design. Inbox settings are split into tabs, and Skills and Automations now live inside Settings.

  • Fixed

GitHubEvery ticket chat now follows your ticket GitHub setting.

  • Fixed

SecurityRepile now runs on the October 2026 Node.js security release.

A Director for every project, also in Slack

  • New

DirectorEach project now has a shared Director. It knows the status of your tickets, can search them, takes actions for you, keeps an activity log, and can stop work in progress.

  • New

SlackYou can talk to a project's Director in Slack. It shows live progress, streams its answers, tags the right people, and you choose who on your team can use it.

  • New

DirectorTurn on a daily digest and alerts for stalled or unanswered tickets. They are off by default.

  • Improved

DirectorYou can give the Director its own instructions. It remembers earlier parts of your conversation and tells you when a chat it started needs a person or is done.

  • New

TicketsConnect Easy Digital Downloads so the agent can look up the exact customer, subscription and license for a ticket.

  • Improved

TicketsEvery customer ticket now gets a reply draft, including billing and license questions. Drafts no longer claim a fix before it is released, there are fewer and better notes, and the agent replaces its own old drafts.

  • Improved

TicketsThe chat header shows a link to the helpdesk ticket and its assignee. You can change a ticket's status from the chat menu, and settling a chat closes the ticket.

  • Improved

WordPress.orgA resolved forum topic reopens when the customer replies, and a reply from your team closes it. Each topic keeps one chat.

  • New

SandboxPull requests can now link to the sandbox where the fix was tested, so reviewers can open the site. The agent also asks before it clones a customer's site.

  • Improved

SecurityTicket chats hide more secrets, follow GitHub safety rules in every approval mode, and work in their own copy of your code so they never change another chat's branch.

  • Improved

AIChats retry after sign-in errors and long usage limits. When Claude Code blocks an action in auto mode, you now get a card to approve it.

  • Fixed

TicketsFreeScout notes keep their line breaks, deleted tickets close in Repile, assignees stay current, and automatic emails are skipped.

Meet Repile Director

  • New

DirectorRepile Director sits above your projects. Ask it for a briefing, have it handle admin work, or hand it a task to delegate. It is one ongoing conversation with its own panel.

  • New

DirectorThe Director's start screen shows what is running, what waits on you, and how many tickets came in across projects.

  • Improved

AIIf an agent is signed out, the chat moves to another agent with the whole conversation instead of failing. Chats fall back to the project's default model.

  • New

AppEvery sidebar style now has a ticket search box.

  • Fixed

TicketsFreeScout ticket chats now close when the ticket closes, and the agent sees ticket screenshots on the API and Webhooks connection.

  • Improved

AppThe web app starts faster and the Mac app responds more quickly.

You decide what ticket agents may do on GitHub

  • New

GitHubTicket agents now show an approval card before they write to GitHub, and you choose which actions need approval. By default they stay with triage unless you allow more.

  • Improved

GitHubTicket agents can read your private plugin code with a read-only GitHub token.

  • New

AIAdmins can add remote MCP servers for everyone or for one project. They work on both Claude Code and Codex.

  • Improved

TicketsThe agent adds an internal note only when it says something the draft does not, or when the ticket waits on an internal check.

  • Improved

SecurityCustomer logins sent as plain lines or pasted into a chat are saved and hidden. Sandbox passwords and login links no longer show in chat logs.

  • Fixed

TicketsFreeScout drafts keep their paragraphs, show code correctly, and no longer repeat the sign-off.

  • Improved

TicketsFreeScout settings show the webhook URL, the module download and your Repile address in one place. The support filter now runs on a model Repile manages, so you do not pick one.

  • Improved

ProjectsProject memory now knows who said what, and reopened tickets are not reviewed twice.

Helpdesks, GitHub and sandboxes come together

  • New

TicketsConnect FreeScout and each new ticket starts a chat. The agent triages it and leaves an internal note and a reply draft. Ticket status shows in the sidebar, and you can turn triage off per mailbox.

  • New

TicketsConnect Help Scout. Repile checks for new tickets every minute, with no webhooks to set up.

  • New

WordPress.orgConnect your WordPress.org support forum. Repile picks up new topics in seconds, and you post replies from a draft card. Your own replies do not wake the agent.

  • New

TicketsReview and send reply drafts from a card in the chat. Ticket chats have Case file, Customer, Timeline and Site tabs, and the agent can see screenshots attached to tickets.

  • New

GitHubConnect GitHub so agents can read issues, clone your repositories, push branches and open pull requests. You can also sign in with your own GitHub account.

  • New

SandboxThe agent can clone a customer's site into a SandyWP sandbox with a clone code, install plugins from the SandyWP Plugin Library, and deploy your repository there.

  • New

SandboxThe agent can record a browser session as a video or screenshots to show a bug. Videos play in the chat with fullscreen and speed controls.

  • New

ProjectsProjects have their own name, avatar, instructions and memory. Every chat in a project learns into its memory, and ticket chats use the project's default model and your instructions.

  • New

SecurityCustomer logins are encrypted and kept out of the agent's view. The agent can ask you for a login in a secure form.

  • New

AppThe Mac app is signed and updates itself. It works with local and cloud workspaces, and you sign in through repile.app. Cloud workspaces update with one click.

  • New

AppAdd people from Settings and give them the Admin or Member role, with access per project. A setup form guides you through a new workspace.

  • Improved

AppSettings are grouped, with one home for each project setting and an Instructions page.

Connect your sandbox

  • New

SandboxConnect your SandyWP account in Settings. Agents on any model can then create and use WordPress sandboxes.

  • Improved

AppThe app now shows the Repile name everywhere.

  • Fixed

AppChats no longer open to a blank pane.
